As a medium for bought music? I was glad when CDs replaced them, personally.

| Not just as a medium for commercial music. Tapes just had so much more soul. Or maybe I'm just nostalgic about the early 90s. |

Meh, they were pretty annoying to me as far as just listening to music. I think I prefer vinyl most of all. |

In all honesty, I just bought it because it looks cool and will look cooler in the studio with all the digital ...I bought it from some guy on Craigslist who had never used it and didn't know if it worked. I talked him out to $100, delivered.
