Read what I wrote again, and you'll see that I said IF variety is your thing. You said it... 45 in the winter, 105 in the summer. I, unfortunately, grew up in Stockton. Spring and fall are pretty great. I also said 'arguably'. Hell, I've heard crazy people up here (Seattle) say the weather is perfect because they love it when it constantly rains... other people kill themselves because of it. :)

But holy crap you're not kidding, there's jack to do around there. I wasn't seriously recommending Stockton at all, unless a high crime rate per-capita is your shtick. A couple hour drive either way and you can have snow or beach... which is nice, but I'd rather pick one and stick with it.

haha and massive meth problem to boot. bay area or southern california. those are the only places that are really "desirable" imho. no other places are worth it. nothing to do and you spend a ton go to la or sf. might as well spend a little more and live there. the money you spend in 1 trip will usually be the increased cost of living depending on where you live and your wage.

So, the Hell's Angels had two known BIG meth labs in Cali, one was in Northern... across the road behind my house. You could smell 'em cooking it up at 3am after the undercovers would leave. My mom called up the detective, who let us know what was up. "Do you leave just before 3?" "Err.. yeah. Why?" "Because that's when they start cookin' it." "". We weren't in a bad neighborhood, it was quite good actually, but it was quiet and spread out.

*sigh, I miss that place.

Im trying to steer clear from bad weather lol. I am deff a big city person and looking mainly around any major cities. I love SD and LA. Which do you think would be a more expensive place to live? Im looking for an apartment around $1800 for a two room. Oh and which would have the best EDM scene. Im guessing LA.
kdepa
SF also has a good EDM scene.

LA has a much better EDM scene than SD. you can easily find a 2bdrm for under 2k in the LA/Greater LA area. look around, and if you have friends there, ask them whats good.
