LOL.. i do the same whenever i use the TTC. majority of the time the collectors aren't paying attention, or they are not there.

all but one are unionized non skilled labour.

Now imagine the real world. Tell me that a busy day at mcdonalds is easier than these jobs for example. (exception being a firefighter of course)

I think the whole city should send an invoice to the ttc and david miller for any lost employment hours as a result of this strike. Id love it if some judge somewhere actually upheld them as viable invoices too!

but nothing is stopping people from sending an invoice as a protest. If everyone did it surely it would get noticed and it would be an assessment as to how much the economy suffers because of this BS. Perhaps then we can finally get support behind dismantling this union and improving service at a reasonable cost.

That's why they let you know ahead of time, that way you can try and find an alternative to get where you are going. So never say you didn't have time to find another ride.

I can't believe TTC pays these guys the same amount of money.
Clearly the drivers deserve more money (although both are overpaid).

TTC is the first place I'm applying to when I move to Toronto. I could definitely live with a strike every few years.

Trust me bro its bad......a regular job is liek 10 bucks but Govt jobs are like freakin 18.00 to 21.00/hr.......Good luck with getting a job in TTC ..... It all depends on who you know or if anyone you know works there.Plus all the govt jobs have tricks and trick of their own to get their own friends and relitives.
