starbucks treats its employees very well. They pay more than minimum wage off the top. They give a free pound of coffee per week and a 30% discount at any starbucks anywhere in the world. Plus they are all corperate owned as opposed to franchises so you can automatically work at anyone and interchange without having to quit and get rehired. For the type of job that it is i think people who work there do quite well. |

Did anyone notice that they raised their prices when minimum wage went up? I thought this to be be pretty retarded.
BTW I'll have a venti cinnimon non fat dolce chai late with whipped cream (with elevated pitch). I seriously think being gay is an employment prerequisite at Starbucks. |

They needed a way to compensate for the increase. Also, the price of coffee beans has gone up in Ontario, which was also a factor in the increase of prices. |

coffee is as important to people as gasoline nowadays...price is gonna go up every few months (only at starbucks and the likes) to keep with other intense prices |
