I don't own Diesel but am surprised that your's fell apart so quickly. was planning to pick up a pair soon so good to know.

Personally, I swear by 7 for all mankind. They are all 'Made in the USA'(usually a good indicator of high quality) and none of the pairs that I own have shown any sign of tearing apart. They are subtle and the fits are fantastic (standard being my favorite)

I own a pair of True Religions but I find them a bit gaudy and also a pair of Rock and Republics but R & R are overpriced (i hear the company has gone bankrupt anyway).

I used to be on the whole Express and Guess kick but those jeans, ,especially guess, never made it past a season. A good tip that i picked up regarding fits is to buy jeans one size small. Jeans eventually stretch and may become lose for you should you buy them exactly in your size.

Almost all jeans I own or have owned are Diesel, Energie and RaRe, with an occasional We Are Replay. All these are Italian brands.

Nice designs and I find them to be very durable.

jeans get trashed easily so I don't usually spend a huge amount on them. Tend to get stuff like Roots, Matalan, stuff from Debenhams etc, paying between £10 and £30 a pair.

Massimo Dutti. Quality pants there.

I dont buy jeans that are made by sweatshops in Taiwan or China LOL
