| Will, you really need to go to a higher end store and just take the plunge and buy some good jeans. Go buy some Lucky Brand or 7 jeans. |

I don't have a favorite brand, per se, but I do know there is nothing worse in life than baggy jeans. Seriously. Well...a smelly vagina is worse.

I'm almost compelled to put this in my signature. |

Elitist slugs buy expensive jeans while the masses buy cheap jeans. Jeans don't make a fat ass look any better because they're more expensive. The cure for that is called exercise.

That's something somebody who can't afford nice jeans would say.
Sorry. |

Just because they look worn and beaten doesn't mean they are. I have a pair of jeans cost me about $250-$280 that are worn looking and came with a small patch on the leg worn down to threads. In 3.5 years that hole hasn't changed size one bit and they still look exactly the same.
I also bought a pair of jeans from the Gap for about $110 (higher end of theirs I suppose). Same idea as the ones twice the cost, but the Gap jeans have stretched so much that I have to tighten my belt an extra notch to keep them from sagging.
More expensive = higher quality.
Also, I bought a $50 pair from Urban Outfitters, wore them a few times and now the waist is all stretched out...already :wtf: :wtf: |

I didn't say, stick with what you're content with. I said, just take the plunge and go buy some. Seriously, just do it. If you're not impressed, don't do it again. |

See here's the thing, right now I can't afford nice jeans. Well, I could, but I'd rather invest that money or do something constructive with it. Then again, I have cheap taste and simple things make me happy, and fashion really isn't important to me so I'm not really a great person to add to this conversation. |

It was more the elitist slug comment than anything else, really.
Would someone who buys B&O be an elitist slug over someone who buys Pioneer?
No.
They value their purchase and can reasonably afford to make the investment. |
