I went that one time for kicks and tried to leave early but got stuck there. It was alright. Yes variety IS the spice of life...I mean going to Edm jams EVERY weekend for 3 days in a row constantly gets boring fast.
As for the picking up aspect it is how it's described...there was a better article about it I read in Metro or 24, one of those papers. Basically it said how the club scene downtown is a farce mostly because it creates an illusion of how the guys going out to clubs have an obligation to pick up (and the women to look whurish and slutt aka 'good'). When they don't, they end up all angry and angst ridden out in the street. lol Meh, that's how it is. |

But it does matter if it's drug-induced. Once you add that to the mix, you don't need to be at a club anymore, you can get the same vibe in somebody's basement (and actually that tends to be a lot more fun).

Ah, the all-too-familiar battle cry of the intellectually helpless. I was wondering how long it would take for me to hear that on this forum after coming back to some occasional posting.
For such a vapid comment, you get an equally vapid response: trust me, I get it. I get it more than most people here get it. That's precisely the reason why I see the rivalry as being so incredibly hollow.

| I don't really agree with the sentiment that both scenes are the same but to draw a line and say "this scene is better because" isn't right either. It's all about the setting you feel comfortable in and how you have fun and there is no way to rationally validate your experience over someone else's. |

Nothing beats Rev main room on a Friday night! So much hilarious stupid goes on, it's fackin awesome haha. Even purple room gets the drunktards in there from the main room and makes it even more hilarious lol |
