| How is business doing in your particular fields? I'm in the Environmental Consulting/Air Quality sector, and work is little to non-existent lately. I'm considering going into another field as their isn't much else to do with the kind of work I do in this area. How are the companies doing u guys work for? This recession is well into play from what I see. Its not looking good on my end :( |

| My field in general will always keep me employed...but the organization I work for now is so ing sketchy. I can't wait to graduate and have my license and not have to worry about it. |

Eh, I don't think we can say that quite yet. I'm not sure we even have it as bad as the '70s, so far. Has the potential to get much worse, though. |

ugh, thats what has me worried. This company has already downsized to 2 of us full time, and one that comes in once a week...the office girl at that. The owner is never here, and theres no money coming in. Only a matter of time. |

While I don't disagree that we haven't it as bad as before, it is slowly getting there. The price of food and oil are horrendous, and the rate of inflation is increasing ever so quicker. The Dow Jones is consistently losing 100 points or more every day. The bottom hasn't fallen out yet, but I personally think it will get pretty damn close.
