Get your taxes in ppl!
Only 2 more days (today and tomorrow!)
You have until midnight tomorrow (April 30, 2008) to file your 2007 income tax return electronically or on paper. If you have a balance owing and don't file by the due date you will have to pay a late filing penalty. :(
If you're self-employed (run your own business) you have until midnight on June 16, 2008 to file your 2007 return though! Ironically (retardedly, lol) you still have to pay any balance owing by April 30, 2008. Yah. I know. Weird.
CANT WAIT TILL ITS OVER!! THANK GOD! :whip: :whip: UGH.

I filed my tax return way way back.. like the second i got my t4's.... now i am suposed to get back $3300!!! i got nothing!!!!
While on vacation my dad said i got a letter from the government saying the refund will be deducted form my osap loan.. i checked all this week,, NOTHING.... the letter is now lost...
theres an automated number to inquire about your tax refund... and the non-automated number just goes busy
the # 1-800-959-8281 has been busy for like the whole week.. wtf is wrong with the government!!! |

No.
(But if you get reassessed and the gov and its determined that you do in fact owe them taxes, then you'd be charged the penalty.)

The only reason why you'd wait till the last minute is if you owed the government money.
If you are expecting a return, why would you want to wait to till the last minute and allow the CRA to get all that extra revenue??
