Based on the trailer embedded above, this looks too much like the first movie ... which was average at best.
Beside that, I've always liked XF but I've never watched the last 3 seasons. (I think I haven't missed a lot after hearing some opinions.)
So... should I watch them because of the movie or not? |

Me too, however I read an article that had interviews with Carter, Duchovny, and Anderson where it seemed they weren't all that confident in it, which just seemed odd to me.
There's definitely going to be a pretty heavy love story plot line in it which is supposed to make up for the gap between the end of the series and where Mulder and Scully are at now. I just hope it doesn't feel as forced/messy as the end of the series did. |
