There probably are, but maybe a keylogger in case there isnt. You could use it, in case anyone who comes up with the laptop uses the laptop for their own personal use, you can get info like their screenames or emails they log into while using your laptop, and then track them down through isp's and correspondance with the FBI or police perhaps.

wasnt a couple of years ago that someone stole a cd-r with a tiesto remix during a set of Cor Fijneman? I still think that was a publicity stunt (but i“m not sure).

Its terrible when someone steals something from you. She must be really mad now.

Hmmm, although its terrible that it was stolen because that means someone was a complete prick, it seems crazy to me that you'd put your laptop down and go to the toilet. At least have someone you trust fully keeping an eye on it, or take it to the bog with you.

Also, if I was a producer/DJ I'd have my laptop Hdd locked up so tight with encryption and passwords that the idiot that stole it wouldnt have a hope of getting whats on it.

And even if they did it wouldnt be the end of the world because of the sheer amount of backups I'd have of the stuff on it anyway :D

All thats not to say that the person who stole it isnt a lowlife piece of . Because they are.

srsly, people go to the bathroom without making a checklist.

the real question is how did nobody speak up when they saw it happen... because there is no way that went unseen.
