Mayhem.
Pretty rammed in there all night, and quality tunes were played from everyone on the bill. You would have thought it was WMC Toronto edition as every DJ, club owner, and promoter from le t. was there. Nice to hear some deepness from Heidi and Audiofly in the early goings. Was VERY surprised to hear Manuel Tur, DPlay - Deviate (Original Mix) a track I've been loving for a month or so played by both Heidi and Audiofly. M.A.N.D.Y. came on and it just got out of hand. Amazing at the beginning, but lost me towards the end with some breaky stuff.
All in all, a wicked Wednesday night. Glad I was there for it. |

Was that the song that sounded like German polka chanting? (best way I can describe it?)
If so, it was my main catalyst for leaving lol did NOTHING for me at all...
edit: I thought it was "lava lava" coming in, and I was about to jump through the roof only to be let down :( :( |

So Douchebag Darrell comes up to me and says "hey, get out of the way I want to talk to the girl behind you". Confused, I don't move and ask him to repeat himself. Darrell says "forget it, you scared her away" to which I reply "No, YOU scared her away".
Douchebag inquires "What do you mean by that?" to which I retort "well either she didn't think you were hot, or maybe she thought you were trying to pick me up". Darrell says "Are you calling me a homo?" and I quickly respond "maybe, do you think I'm cute?".
Douchebag Darrell gets VERY upset with all this and starts freaking out getting in my face and puffing up his chest like some exotic bird trying to impress the females. I mock him a little, pretending to apply lipstick and puckering my lips, after which I put the biggest -ass grin on my face and just smile at him while he goes on yelling about how he is going to fight me and I am going to be sorry.
Margaret and Jay stepped in and attempted to deflect Douchebag's verbal aggression while I winked at him and acted coy. Obviously Darrell has some sexual identity issues as he took out his insecurities on all 3 of us.
Thanks to Margaret and Jay I was safe from Douchebag Darrell's empty threats and over-the-top masculine puffery.
I still think he thought I was cute. I had my hair done up all German-style for Heidi & M.A.N.D.Y.. He even brought his douchebag-posse of friends over to check me out. |
