I saw !!! live in a big stadium gig a couple of years ago and they were immense. I really like their live sound, which (from what I've heard) is very far from what they sound like on record. As I recall they used two drummers and a third percussionist and just laid down endless funky big beats that just boomed out in the open air. Fantastic.
The video's pretty cool, but it's a bit toothless compared to that gig. |
