My second time seeing Luke Fair live...first time was TIL last year, which I thought was OK...but after witnessing Saturday night, the TIL performance was a disaster by comparison.

I was really blown away by a near perfect set. Many new Luke Fair devotees were born that night.

PS God bless Footwork.

so true so true. Many people I know did not care for Luke's set at This is London last May. I, being a huge Luke supporter, defended it continuously.... "its Luke. This is his style".

But Saturday... He shifted gears. He took his style to a new level.

I still can't stop thinking about it.

Bring on the boatcruise...

I want more.

I saw Cribby taking pictures. Although I'm not sure if I want to see them, given the relatively high degree of sloppiness that night as evidenced by the guy who thought my firefly was alive and tried to kill it and the girl who refused to be introduced.

All part of the fun I guess. :stongue:

Only managed to capture a few shots, since I was feeling a bit sloppy myself. lol

Probably my favorite track played by Luke all night....

He had been looking forward to playing this gig all week, and you could just tell walking into that room on Saturday night that the table was set for him to do something special. Not since the early days of Breathe have I heard such a fluent set from him, that was not only flawlessly programmed - but it was also insanely diverse.

Really looking forward to Canada Day even more than before (if that was possible)

people are saying that his set was really really good, and it was but i guess i didnt have anything bad to compare it too lol. everything ive heard from him was good (downloaded sets) and ive never seen him before, so i expected him to be good anyway. he must have been, cuz it was so hard for me to leave! i kept saying "ok, after this song ill go"
:stongue:

ps. i wonder why he always wears his hat that way to cover his eyes. i hate when ppl do that, but luke fair can pass on it
:p

I took a couple of videos, they are dark and you can barely see anything but the point is the music... hope you enjoy them:
