Not being able to cry...

So this past weekend I witnessed my 6 month old puppy get hit by a car, really tragic.

My girlfriend began bawling as soon as it happend, my sister as soon as I called her, and my mom as soon as she arrived at the vet clinic.

Myself, on the other hand, didn't shed a single tear, even though this puppy meant a lot to me and I am still deeply devastated.

DO I HAVE NO HEART?

Anyone else not cry when they felt they "should" have?

As men age, it becomes physiologically harder and harder for them to cry.

I haven't cried for 4 years, I can remember the last time.

meh, people express grief differently. /worthless comment

edit: i've gone without crying for years, until my breakup when both her and I cried in each others' arms. She was heartbroken, and I was just realizing what I will be missing. /emo comment

You sure it's a physiological rather than a cultural thing?

Do you cry your eyes asleep?
Is it peace you seek at night when your body's weak?
Did it leave you with the scars, of a war-torn ravaged heart?
