thereby endorsing a certain stereotype and making yourself look like an elitist, something most people don't want associated with neither themselves or the 'scene' in general
yes |
an elitist??
how many articles can we dig up in the last year in the city alone that can prove a relevance to this "scene" or "pop culture" with violence.
I didn't knock the music, but i will knock the certain aspects of the culture involved with it, as ppl can do to any scene. |

Your arguement is completely valid dude. No need to argue it. Everyone on here knows that hip hop attracts violence. If you don't know that, you are not listening to the lyrics.
You are 100% correct, people just won't admit it. |

no ing eh
and a reply is a "sigh"
as if my replies are such a bore.
perhaps we are all below her level, she must sigh all day long at everyone else's lack of intelligence as we cannot carry a conversation with her or understand her superior sense of humor.
I think there are more lesbians in our "scene" who would be more offended at lesbian jokes then there is car jacking homeboys. |

It all started outside The Guvernment nightclub on Queens Quay, where the man, identified only as Parm, and his friend Koka, had just left their friend's Punjabi CD release party at about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Koka, 26, was driving his mom's Mercedes CLK430 in front of the club when a man driving a BMW inched into the back of the car. Koka got out to speak with the other driver and, within minutes, everything was resolved -- or so it seemed, Parm, 28, told the Sun yesterday.
Pretty good possibility ? |

lol right.
why don't you look up in all the other threads you've already alluded to - because all the reasoning is there as well.
and lucky you eh, you get the internet police on your side today. |

I think it's just common sense, and not to say you don't have any. You have a good vocabulary and you do raise good points, maybe your just having a bad day to be such a hypocrite and aggressor.

just in general sick of the hip hop bashing on here, as im sure lots of people will agree with me. its old, and terribly overdone.
so perhaps im an aggressor, but the material is the catalyst. |

This is and edm board, i think alot of us started off or have been a fan of hip hop...i certainly was kool moe dee, lords of the underground, tribe, KRS 1, then become a fan of turnatablism which i still am intrigued by.
Your hip hop bashing statement loses its validity as not only me but many have agreed that the problem is the "pop culture" of the music or "scene" not the music its self.
we could shake on this agree to disagree and call it a day or else the "internet police" with myself will be having circular arguments all day. Whats the point? |
