One of the saddest things I've ever seen on television was a documentary on the gangs in either St. Petersburg or Moscow who are essentially new-wave Nazis crossed with Clockwork Orange, and go round bashing foreign immigrants at night within an inch of their life, just for fun.
Their leader was exactly like Alex from Clockwork Orange...big smile on his face as he talked about killing people, just because they "don't belong here". Completely insane. |

Yeah I know. :( I really wish it would improve, but as the video points out, and one of the Russian guys says, the population is standing still. They aren't actually getting off their ass and trying to make something for themselves. I can't tell you how many Russians I know in Sacramento that all they do is stupid . They may be smart, but see no use in education. Pisses me right the off.

ugh Why are our people so ing unmotivated!? Seriously, they seem to want to do all. Few seem to care about making a real life that they are proud of. The few that do, are usually far removed form the usual Russian culture. So ing sad. |
