are always fun, especially when you're asked about 200 questions regarding what you did and what you're work is based on, regulations, revenues, etc...all within 3-hours.

One thing is great though. Got my own office with dual monitors and a room with a view.

:D

Nope, not yet. I'll be graduating from a 5-year B.A. in Architecture in 2 years (hoping). I'm still battling untransferred classes from UT and summer classes I took at Blinn College (Brenham). It's a pain in the ass, more so if you're trying to graduate with a N.A.A.B. accredited school (most international firms will only accept NAAB accredited and experienced architects).

Right now I'm working at Mustang Engineering (parent company Wood Group and BP). I'm only a summer intern student, but with the experience I have in being a CAD rat (literally live off that ), designing and rendering multifunctional units and being able to coordinate with contractors/supervisors and contruction superintendents in acquiring proper licenses and permits for city ordinaces, and "red-lining" drawings and getting them ready for submission, they really want to keep me here longer than that. The department I'm working in goes by the name "Facilities Management", and we are pretty much the head-hanchos of all reconstructed, remodeled, and redevelopments of new and existing Mustang Engineering-affiliated buildings. As I've noticed within the last 48 hours, it goes waaayy beyond than anything I've imagined. I hit a 3-hour meeting today, and 2 meetings with designers. It gets pretty stressful after those.

I could take a picture of that, render it on AutoDesk 3D, and make it look like Steve's gang banging Cory from behind.

Yep. I-10 and hwy.6, inside the Park Ten/Park Row strip. I'm in the East building, which is the rounded one you can see from the freeway with big blue letters. If anybody happens to drive on I-10 going west, there is a building labeled "Wood Group" on the right. The building I'm doing the interiors for is located near that one, and is under construction.

Make sure you tag the concrete barriers with spray paint with your name so that I know you saw it. Ignore the surveillance cameras, they're offline.

:D

the only thing that puzzles me about that place is they built that parking garage in front of their building. it blocks the building and looks weird.

Yea...never understood why that happened or why they did that, but agree it doesn't make sense.
