Firstly, this is a NAME YOUR OWN PRICE offering.
Well, I know it's been quite a while since I announced that I was going to design a trance patch bank for the Access Virus TI. This is for two reasons: the complexity of the Virus TI and because the bank has to be really good (I'm not trying to be modest).
Almost all of the patches on the bank were, at some point, a part of one of my productions. This means one thing : USABILITY.
THIS IS NOT THE FINAL BANK. It's less than 90 patches and many patches lack a modulation-wheel assignment. This is the first and only pre-release teaser bank. The next release will be the final completed bank.
The mp3 is a no-fuss audio demo. Every sound is straight from the virus -- except for at the very end.
Also, as a side note, I've made a recent purchase. A Dave Smith Prophet 08. So once the Virus TI bank is complete, a Prophet 08 bank will be next.

Sounds very good man.. I really dig the bass in the last example! Sadly, I don't have a ti.

Alanzo this sounds very good.
Can you be more specific on "at the very end" regarding what sounds are not in your bank? What time in your sample do the sounds not included start?
Also, should I just wait until you release the final bank? How far is the final off? |

I think he's referring to the drums, Magnus. FWIW I just purchased the bank a few days ago and spent some time with it last night and there are some great sounds there. |

Actually, every sound you hear is from the bank. I only meant that at the track demo (with percussion) in the end, a few of the tracks were rendered to WAV so I could play around with them more. |

| I got the Prophet 08 yesterday. It's awesome. I will definitely be releasing a Prophet 08 bank in the near future. The Prophet bank won't take nearly as long as the Virus bank since it's 1/4 as complex.. yet sounds 4 times better. ;) |

Some amazing sounds, thanks alot I will definitely buy the full release.
The plucks I especially liked, and it was helpful to me to see how some trance sounds are made. Are you still planning to finnish this one?

| Is the bank compatible with the Virus C? |

| Almost all TI banks are compatible with the C. You mostly just use some specific filters/routings/effects that do not exist on the Virus C. Other than that all identical features are mapped the same on both C and TI as far as I know. :) |

Yes, it's still in the works. Slowly but surely. I think I'm at 100 patches now. |
