...to remix "Far Away" for release on Vandit. The details from Beatport:

“This remix opportunity is a first for a track from my catalogue”, says van Dyk.
As well as having their remix released on Paul van Dyk’s label Vandit Digital, the first place winner will also receive a Pacemaker, $100 in Beatport Credit, and a copy of Ableton Suite (including Ableton Live 7, Sampler, Operator, Electric, Analog, Tension, Drum Machines, Essential Instrument Collection 2 and Session Drums).
And the second and third place runners-up will receive Ableton Live 7 and Ableton Live 7 LE, respectively, along with Beatport gear.
The remix competition is open to producers from all genres, as Paul van Dyk is looking for innovative, cutting-edge and thought-provoking mixes of his track.

With things like these it's usually the original producer who picks the winner. So yeah, it will be crap... |
