Meth has the most iconic sound...so sick. RZA and ODB are at the top as well both for their insane individual style and dope lyrics. It's a hard choice still...WU TANG CLAN AINT NUTTIN TO WIT!

i agree. i dont wanna open a new thread so im gonna ask here. whos the best mc of all times? cant say biggie or tupac.
rakim
The most recent POUND magazine's main article was about this. They asked several current big name rapper's who they thought was the all time best mc... they overwhelmingly said The god Rakim Allah. Nas came in second. You could literally take Rakim's vocals from any of his classic traxx, and put them over a modern day beat and the flow would be seamless. The guy's style doesn't age, and that's that he's been out since the mid 80's. Like his lyrics in the CLASSIC video with Nas, Krs1, and Kanye...says:
"Timeless, so age don't count in the booth,
When your flow stays submerged in the fountain of youth"

Still no idea.

This is like asking whether black sabbath or Led Zeppelin had a greater influence on 'heavy metal'.
I love Liquid Swords but I am still partial to Ghostface's flow..., just my opinion. GZA, then the CHEF round out my top three.

I've only seen one video of them in the 90s and I remember ghostface killah. I also know of Ol'dirty bastard from that mariah carrey song they played abillion times commercially.
That's it.
I think the vid was Triumph now that it was mentioned.

Triumph was a huge vid, being the signature single from the second album it was also the first time all members got a proper verse on the same track. everyone dropping memorable lines and some memorable images (rza with wings, mef on the bike in flames...)

When you think of his movie Ghost Dog, it seems logical.
And GZA ftw, btw. I just listened to Cold World on the way home from work...ironically enough.
