Nice! I really want to skydive some day too :) I'll try to do it somewhere where the nature will be beautiful to look at and where it'll be cheaper than in Sweden... Where did you jump?

I've only tried bungee jumping a couple of years ago in Cyprus and reeaaally enjoyed it! The jump was 200 ft(!) high, and the cords were adapted so that jumpers would hit the water :)

Here I am btw :p (note my feet prepared for a dive, lol)

Here in the states, you are strapped in for, at the very least, the first 3 jumps you ever do. You will always have to jump with an instructor unless you are certified. You can go down in san diego county, and they take you. It is $245 and that includes the video.

Been wanting to do this forever but everyone is too chicken to come with me...

Wonder what the jump would be like on LSD, or any substance for that matter...

*enter time warp*

The waiver we signed basically says one should never ever attempt a jump under the influence..

i thought about doing it stoned and just stopped in my tracks- i really dont want to jump out of a plane under the influence!

Well, that was the place that my sister used. That was the present for her fiancee's bday a few years ago. He ing loved it. It probably has gone up due to rising fuel prices.

Have you ever done cliff gliding up in La Jolla? Its far from skydiving but its still an adrenaline rush.

Nah. I am not a strong swimmer, and therefore would never do something as such. I prefer to keep my head above water for this very reason also.

i would def try cliff diving...

we did a little bit of it when i was in the amazon... just like 30-40 ft though, nothing too insane

I think you misunderstood me. Cliff Gliding doesn't involve diving into the water. Like skydiving you fly with an instructor, but instead you're on a glider. You take off on the cliffs and gently ride the air currents above the ocean and then return back to the top of the cliff.
