So this is my latest promo mix (i.e. not for radio or for the sake of ing around ;)), and also my artist mix for AMP this year. No dicking around this time, just straight up drummy, loopy, repetitive techno and tech house with just the one classic to close it out. There are definitely a couple dodgy mixes in this one - but I thought everything was phrased alright and that they recovered, so we'll see.

Massive thanks to those of you around here who are a big part of keeping me so motivated to do this stuff particularly Myra, Tom, Adam, Clovis, Bas, Tony, Sushi, Bobby, Az, Jake, Mathias, Jeff, and the rest of those of you whom I'm either too stoned or lazy to remember at the moment.

:p

Definitely want to send special thanks on this one, however, to Clovis and d-miurge for keeping me inspired this week - I hope the both of you enjoy it.

:)

I'm saddened that I wasn't even .0000001% enough inspiration to get a shout out...but I'll still download tonight and jam it on the train tomorrow. Review to follow.

You have inspired me to poop before bed!

:gsmile:

In all seriousness though, thanks for grabbing it - I hope it's not half as bad as the pissboring set I left you with at Localized. :p

I don't think it's possible to ever replicate a set that pissboring if you tried. That set was dancefloor genocide. How's that for some bed pooping fodder?:stongue:

In all seriousness, I haven't heard a bad set from you...just seen a bad attitude, lol.

God dammit Rob. I am already one behind now since I didn’t catch the radio show. You need to slow down and .So as of now which one of the priority? I am in the process of catching up in regards to checking out mixes but you’re not making it easy on me, lol.

p.s. ~ I’m glad that all those years of whispering sweet nothings into your ear have inspired you.

Also I like the name of the mix, and .

Yeah - I mentioned this in the other thread, but more than anything it's just bad timing. I had to get the Frisky one done early this month, and AMP is relaunching their website on Friday w/ me as the featured artist for June, so I had to hustle to get this one done as well.

To be honest with you, you may not even like the radio show all that much - if you really just wanted to hear something you might enjoy through and through, and is definitely more techy/Detroit influenced, this is probably the one to hit up and not the other.

I don't know - this one just strikes me as more your style. Starts off kind of tech-housey with the Carl Craig and Art Bleek tunes - but moves into drummy techno pretty quick and then kind of dances between the two for the rest of the set.

But yeah - the radio show was a radio show, this is definitely a more "thoughtful" or deliberate set.

Nice, well that makes it easy on me then. I'll make sure to snag this tonight, unicorn techno FTW, and .

listening to it now while eating breakfast. i'm about 20 minutes in and it's been sounding pretty good. no clue what this track is but it's pretty chill, actually the whole mix has been pretty chill to me and i'm really liking it.

Glad you're diggin' it Rick - I *think* the tune you're talking about is the ID, which basically also has that Carola track sampled over the whole thing.

That tune (the ID) was produced by a TA.
