Not really. Atheists don't begin to talk about their beliefs/views until someone brings up religion. If anything, they'd be the last to bring up the topic of religion. That's not a door-to-door salesman. |

I wouldn't say it's wrong (it's just a debate after all), but it's hardly, if ever, worth it. Most people enter the discussion trying to convince all other parties involved, instead of just analysing all ideas carefully in order to improve the belief system as a whole. |

not really dude. athiests are usually highly oppinionated and think they are more intelligent than everyone else. hence, they get great joy in educating people all about the faults in the bible, even though it is irrelevant. |

Most holders of a particular belief think they're more intelligent than those that have a different point of view, so it often works for atheists and Christians alike in this context. |
