This is a preception / frame of reference picture to the extreme.
Most of you are looking at it like some poor person somehow 'magically' got a maggot in their eye. (Really....I mean...how does someone suddenly get a maggot that size in their eye??):rolleyes:
I'm thinking it's being used by the doctor for a reason (read my post above as to why...). ;) |

In South Africa you can't swim in certain lakes because it contains little worms that crawl under your skin and start nesting there...ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

Umm, yes you do... The fly bites you and lays eggs under the skin :rolleyes:
And there's something called a Sand Fly that if it bites you can pass on harful bacteria and can result in your skin decaying :eyes:

So I was right...the fly has to lay the egg...but the simple action of biting doesn't produce eggs... :p
(ok so I was being technical goof about it...) :clown:
Someone would have to be totally brain dead for them to wait for the fly to actually lay the egg...
Ever been bit by a Horsefly or Deerfly?...they hurt like a BITCH! :whip:
And they ARE about this big...(meaning the picture IS about to scale...they're BIG suckers)
