Tiesto copied Dumonde??

| Hey ppl.. if anyone heard Basic Avalon - Firewalk u will notice that it has the same melody(the background melody) as Tiesto's remix of Silence.. the thing is, this track came out in 99(made in 98) and Tiesto's remix of Silence came out in 00(made in 99) i know Dumonde are/were behind Basic Avalon, and they produced that track which was a B-side of "Suspicious Love" u think it was pure coincidence that Tiesto used the same melody? or did he secretly copy?? |

| seems like a ton of copying is going on in the music scene.....armin van buuren suing mauro picotto for taking a part of one of armin's songs and mauro using it in like this like that. Dan Robbins (DBD) is mad at josh wink for stealing a song (most of it anyways)......josh wink stole french kiss from lil louis without permission. Like nothing in the dance music community surprises me. Artists are starting to take others ideas and use them as their own. Shameless, i believe so. |

yeah, who knows...
it probably differs from case to case.
maybe they used similar samples and it was a coincidence, or maybe it was a blatant copy....
we'll never know. |

yeah and he's won the case too! blue fear ripped by mauro and turned into liek this like that. and guess what there both playing ata forthcomming gig near me one after the other. i hope armin plays blue fear for a laugh. but seriously its all wrong. glad he won the case tho. |
