Oh yeah, jesus christ I'm a retard. I always think of Kennesaw being in a far off land for some reason. :p
It's really depressing though, I'd really like some type of MARTA transit up here. Would make a few things a lot easier, pity the vote ended up being a no go. |

| I can't believe people would vote no to an extension of public transportation, especially when you have North Springs which is one of the cleanest stations I've ever seen being one of the far stations. |

| Yeah North Springs has a VERY nice station, I think it'd be the same if you extended the lines out to other areas. |

I'm sure if you had to do that vote again right now, it'll be closer to a yes :p |

There are plans to extend MARTA to Alpharetta around 2012. More reason for all the racist retards to move their to Forsyth County.
My problem with the North Springs station is there is no ramp to continue heading south on 400. Which retard designed that? |

| I work over in Alpharetta and there are definitely racist idiots abound in that area, at least from what I've seen. It's pretty depressing. :( |

If you click on "11x17" Version of Concept 3 Map" you can see one of the plans that the transit board is working on right now. |

Very true, but my point is that with MARTA, it's difficult to get to places. It doesn't cover any ground except a giant +, so if you want to get in a corner, you're going to be walking 3 times as long as you took the train.
NYC trains go everywhere, just as the Parisian one posted, and The Tube in London (which is phreaking sick *fistpump*) |
NYC's MTA also runs 24 hours. It means the stations tend to be dirty because trying to keep it clean is just impossible. Having said that, I'll take dirty stations for 24 hour access. The one way fare is a good value since it's only $2 no matter how far you travel. It's even better when you have an unlimited pass.
The tube in London is definitely one of the better systems I've ridden. Easy to understand maps, cushioned seats are definitely a plus. I loved going around London on the tube. I just hated the price of an all day pass. :whip:
Personally, my favorite systems are Hong Kong (MTR), Singapore (MRT) and DC (Metro). |

Something you've all failed to think about is the fact that MARTA is the only public transit system the US that isnt state or federally funded. It's funded by penny taxes in two counties and operational fares.
Dont dog MARTA so much! |
