Well, I naturally wasn't comparing Brazil to any other country... even because Brazil had this economic boom - much like China's - in the 70's, the difference being the unfortunate lack of investiment on education.

gonna share my little $$ saving secret...

I bought a tub of protein powder for the first time ever from Walmart yesterday. $13 bucks for 60 servings of yummy choclate goodness. Mix a scoop with milk and have a delicious chocolate shake. I'm going to substitute a chocolate protein milkshake at least once a day for a regular meal. Should save $4/day = $120/month. It adds up.

Gay prostitution doesn't count, especially since you most likely enjoy your work.

Brazil is #1 though.

In the fourth quarter of 2007, Brazil's growth rate was about 6%, at least according to this Brazilian site:

China and India regularly post growth rates of 8 - 10%.
