| I'm sick and tired of hearing the people around me always crying about the gas prices and economy. I've always managed to put away $700 to around $1,100 a month in my savings for the past 4+ years and plan on keeping up this pattern just in case I get laid off or feel like moving on to a more challenging , higher paying career. Americans are the worse, always blowing a load on bars for cheap thrills and then wondering where all the ing money went. My salary is about $56,000/year but I work 50+ hours on the road all day, the driving conditions are brutal in the winter in MI. |

Even though IBGE belongs to the government, it's a quite reliable source.
But, many things should be considered when comparing India and China to Brazil. Because we've had our share of development in the past, it's only natural that we're not being able to keep the same pace. Our Human Development Index, for example, is substantially higher than that of those countries (being more like Russia in that sense).
So, comparing China and Brazil is just like comparing oranges and tangerines. You can actually do that if you want, but it's really not the same thing. |
