I wasnt ever planning on posting in this forum again but i was lead to this thread. So today i will make an exception.
Sara, I'm sorry babe. If you need my jacket the offer is still on the table :P. I know you're a strong girl and can beat this. If you can spend a weekend with diginut u can spend months getting rid of this. I wish you the best of luck. And if you ever need anything please just ask.
How did you know you may have had cancer back in 06 - 07. what symptons made u say "okay i need to go see a doc and get tested?" |

| I'm so sorry to hear that, my mother is a cancer survivor at the age of 51, she had phase 4 thymoma. Don't worry, hold your head up. With the advancements in medicine & technology and given your young age, you'll pull through. Don't let it bring you down and stop you from living your life to the fullest. There's not anything else I can really tell you since I don't personally know you and can't be there for the support. The best way to keep yourself mentally balanced and prepared for surgery and/or chemotherapy if necessary is to turn to family & friends for that support which is crucial to anyone in your situation. Good luck. |

Also may sound weird, but don't worry how you feel, might feel fine might feel . Might hate people might love people. You can't help it. Be selfish for now but involve your loved ones, they'll done ANYTHING they can. There is no wrong way to feel. |
This sounds like good advice.
You might just see words in a screen here, but the truth is that in this board we're real people from all over the world who are saddened to hear this, want you to get better, and are here to talk to whenever you want. So be strong, and kick the out of those betraying stupid evil cells. :) |

On a selfish note I don't know any relative or family who has cancer so I hope don't have the genetics for it. |

As everyone has said, don't let it beat you up. I've known 3 people with it who were young and fought it off like the bitch it was.
You tell it who is boss.
Remember that. :) |

I don't know you at all but you have my best wishes.
Like everyone's said here the younger you are, the better. I've had two cousins with different types of cancers pull through just fine, one of them got really close too. You just have to keep your spirits up and fight it as hard as you can.
Good luck. |
