i've thought about writing something for some time now but i just can't seem to compose the right phrases or accurately express what i feel about what's happening to you.
to be frank, i don't know you (or anyone lese on this board for that matter), but i've seen your posts from time to time in the COR and PDD, although i can't recall exchanging anything with you. nonetheless, i sincerely hope that your surgeries and treatment are successful, and that you, your family and friends come out of this challenge closer and stronger.
for a moment, i will set aside my agnostic tendencies, and pretend that there is a God, and i will pray to God to show mercy upon you, and allow you live a long healthy and fruitful life. best wishes,

My dad is just getting over stomach cancer now and it was pretty serious, cant be treated by chemo/radiation and 75% chance of it returning BUT he is living a normal life, back at work and doing really great.
When I head at New Year that he was so sick I thought that was the end of it all (he had it for 2 years and didn't even realise the tumour was the size of a football), I would never have dreamed that things would go back to how they are now....
So.....I guess I mean to say that I hope the story will be the same for you chick. the word cancer fills so many of us with fear but medical science has come so far, especially in the states, I have so much faith in it all these days.

Lol, Thank you Amber. Selling the house couldn't come at a better time. You won't see a bulliten or a blog about this on myspace because this isn't a "omg let me post this on myspace" kind of thing. Which I'm sure some of you are thinking "Um, this is a more public place than your private myspace page, why would you post it here instead?" I'll explain.
I have been on TA now for what - nearly five years? I can't think of how many nights I stayed up late talking to TA's about life, love, family, friends, or how many times I'd rush home from work just because I knew I needed to talk to a TA. I've traveled all across the country, met so many TAs, partied with TAs, stayed at different TAs houses... Had a whole mess of TAs rub my back as I was puking from drinking too much at a house party. It's like a whole community for me. My friends are concerned with how the cancer is going to affect THEM (ex: weddings) vs what I'm going through. You guys though... I have no obligations with you. None of you are COUNTING on me for anything. Strangely at a time like this, the support and wishes and love I got from all of you is like my backbone - which is crazy to think an online community is that! But if something happened to anyone else, we'd all be the same to them as well.
What I'm trying to say is - Thank you to everyone who came out of the woodwork, I know tons of you haven't posted in a while... hell I haven't been posting but for the past week or two, and I love you guys.
And Emil - we've already done the laporoscopy (sp?) before and that's getting done again to see the spreading. |

hey Sara. I remember you from mIRC (not that we spoke) and when COR was fun.
Sorry to hear that you got diagnosed with this. It's a painful, especially on your age. I do hope everything turns out fine.
Whatever happens though, you are , still and will be the most attractive TA lady on this board!

lol right? its been too long i actually fell off my poker game for a while i learned how to count cards.. maybe i should get drunk and go into a blackjack online game now HAHA..
