really. obama took the most traveled route into politics: Law school (havard i might add - more prominent politicians than most schools) -> big law firm -> state government -> federal government. you don't get anymore cookie-cutter than that.
Look earlier in his biography.

I think at this point its not about not knowing when to quit, being stubborn, or whatever. Shes not stupid, she knows what she is doing. There are a couple of reasons she would stay in the race right now and none of them speak positively of her character as a person.

Notice all of the comments critical of Hillary - great mods over there - she must use the same people that mod Danny Tenaglia's site.

without Bill Clinton hillary still accomplished more than most people. what exactly sets obama apart from hillary as far as life accomplishments?
Yeah, and Dubya has a Harvard MBA. Blah blah blah. Most selective school in the world? C'mon. That's a stretch.

Yale Law's acceptance rate is 6.9%, Harvard Business School is 14%. It is definitely the most difficult law school in the world to get into. And take W. with a grain of salt - his daddy was a huge oil tycoon by then. Hillary's father owned a small textile business. I think one achievement is sliiiiiiiiiightly more impressive than the other.

Yes, and the Clintons aren't connected. Where'd you get your stats from? Was that the admission rate when she got in or the current admission rate? Is her propensity to sell out at the drop of a hat factored in?

I love how this has turned into an argument, essentially, over which president/presidential candidate is most out of touch with the common man!

This whole thread's a joke, separating the few people with intelligent opinions (be it against my own, but still intelligent), and the rest who are... yeah.
The same motivation, the same drive for power, the same dream and wish to be President, EVERYTHING about Obama and Clinton is the same, you all are blind if you think she's the only power-hungry one. They're both as politician as it gets, and if this quick "road to power" really mattered to or bothered all of you, you'd be behind McCain for serving our nation, and paying his dues before running for President. I think the guy's a joke, but I thinking making her "thirst for power" an issue is a tired and absolutely retarded statement to even put against her.
Think about what goes into being President of the United States of America. For anyone to want this job or think they DESERVE it means they're egocentric and hungry for power, so drop that argument.

I don't know what you're getting at. "The Clintons" was not a household name when she applied to Yale. What's your point? It's a clear fact that the Bushes were well-known and got little Georgie into Harvard. Neither Bill or Hillary were from such a family... Bill was poor, and Hillary was from a humdrum middle class family...
What, are you gonna start downplaying Bill's Rhodes Scholarship now? I don't get your point?

1. You're an idiot for this reply.
2. I don't see the intelligence in the point of saying that her attendance of Yale should be downplayed because it's NOT the hardest school to get into.... Sorry chief, I just don't see how this has any relevance OR is in anyway a good point to say she shouldn't be President.
3. I also don't see any intelligence in talking about the significance that Bill and Hillary have separate accounts and he needs to give her money.
4. Add 2 + 3 and I see it as a joke of a thread.
5. If you've read any of my other replies, I've admitted Obama is the choice and I'm supporting him in November.
6. You're an idiot.
