!!This is the official MWTA minitek 08? Festival thread!!
On May 17 we unveiled the m and announced minitek - New York's electronic music + innovation festival!
Over three days from September 12-14, 2008 minitek will present an exciting lineup made up of international top headliners as well as long awaited US debuts of emerging artists. The lineup announced so far is:

New Yorkers love to say that anything you need, you can get in New York, but over the last few years one thing the city has lacked is a proper techno festival. Enter the Minimoo crew, who?ve been bringing top minimal/techno artists to the Big Apple, and who are planning two days and two nights of beats this summer.
But minitek isn't only about quality music; the festival will present new innovations in the areas of technology, environment and non-music art, and over three days you will have the opportunity to discover new concepts, experience pioneering projects and try out ingenious products that will shape the future.
To make the long wait until September a little sweeter we will launch a series of minitek podcasts available for download, featuring a different artist of our lineup every week until the festival. You'll find the podcasts on the minitek website, which is currently being updated and will be online soon.
As always with Minimoo, the location is a bit of a secret at first, but those who have been to Minimoo parties in the past will know to expect the best in terms of location and vibe. And you?ll know that it?s going to go on way longer than advertised.

| thats a bad ass lineup but the more i look at it, the more i realize i have heard anyone on that list at least once. so really nothing new, still would like to go but maybe next year. |

i have never been to new york so this is the perfect time.....plus, the line up? its so nasty! just bought my minitek ticket this morning, plane tix soon to follow :tongue2 |

Woot, this falls on my birthday!! Already have hotel booked. Excited for this... Solid line up, sounds like some good clean fun :p

| i have a promising feeling this event will BLOW up in the year/years to follow....will be glad to say i was at the first...nyc has the #1 thriving scence for minimal, minimal tech in the US. i envy their scene so props to them....must support! :gsmile: |
