| I keep going back and forth whether I want to go to this. I've been hearing a lot about his "dark" style which sounds interesting. Knowing that I am not the biggest fan of house music, do you guys that know a lot about him think I would enjoy it? I want to get out and check out some different music, but am afraid of not enjoying it. |

I listen to some house and a lot of trance, and I enjoy Lawler. Check the set Sam posted a few pages back. Great stuff. |

lawler was the house dj that changed my taste from trance to house! imo he is the best, sexiest house beats come out of the speakers when he is behind the decks! he dropped Grindhouse saturday, avalon went nuts, got a crazy dark vocal with an insane bass line. i'm sure some of you heard that track if you were in miami but still, i love that track and played at the right time within a set it is just nuts!!! he also dropped this track that has fckin monkey's overlayed in it. just insane!!!
just try him, you're right you may not like him but then again, you may become a born again house head :D
lawler has been throwing parties since the what late 80's/early 90's undgerground that i would have died to be a part of, he's pioneer in house music. lol i sound like i'm trying to promote him but i just admire him so much and love his sets. see him every chance i can get. first time i ever saw him was in atlanta 4 years ago.
chatted with him for a bit after his set on saturday and i told him atlanta was the first place i ever saw him and that is where i am from and he's like, how do you think the crowd is going to react to me and my sound now??? i think you guys will love it, he's got a lot of his old lawler tribal house sound back, atleast he did saturday.

i wish, i'm not coming home to visit this year. i'm going to ibizia instead. but man, seeing lawler at home with great friends would be so amazing! although it was pretty fckin amazing this past saturday at avalon :crazy: |

We were thinking about this, too... but last "all you can drink" I saw at an afterhours was a bucket of cheap, migraine inducing vodka mixed with watered-down cranberry juice. But man, the music sounded great as I was puking my guts out! :D |
