not specifically. but i damn well know where to look, and sometimes ppl send me stuff, so i don't even have to look. ;)
that being said, i think its a pretty lame track. not even worth buying when it comes out. |

First, let me start off by saying I am not trying to be offensive or piss anyone off. I am simply asking for peoples opinions.
i went to the Vanguard Tiesto show this past Friday and had a blast. This was probably my 10th or 11th time seeing Tiesto live.
Is it me, or have his sets become increasingly, for lack of a better term, "lame." When i compare this set to others like four to five years ago, for examply his Live in Concert DVD, its discturbing how even keeled his sets sound now. The tiesto i enjoy more is when he has the extremely intense build ups following by hardcore, bass lines that are followed by more intense remixes and highs.
I saw his show this past labor day in Vegas at Jet and the previous year in Vegas at the Palms. The show as the Palms was one of the best nights of music i have ever seen. Had all kinds of funky remixes with huge highs and deep lows. Jet was like his show this past weekend, not a bad one by any means but still... i feel like he can do WAY better.
so, does anyone agree with my or am i getting too old for this? i am only 26 by the way. Are his new sets attracting a new demographic of Trance? i was asking around to as many people as i could at the show, and i feel like that was most peoples first time so they really had nothing to compare it to.
thanks- and again, i really like Tiesto, so i am not trying to be negative regarding his talent or music. |

why don't you post in the dozens of other tiesto at vanguard threads? in case you haven't noticed this isn't really a tiesto thread. and yes, his sets have become pretty lame. tiesto is just a name now, and definitely not worth $80 to see. there is much better music out there. |

I think it's ing hilarious reading some of these tiesto reviews. A bunch of them say things akin to "my favorite part of the night was when he dropped lethal industry!!!"
yeah. never heard that one before  |
