| just started getting back into working out. i caught a pretty bad cold, so what do you people think? is it better to just rest up this week, or should i not break the routine? i'm doing more intense work outs for bulking up in case it makes any difference. |

I kinda like to "sweat it out" when I get a cold, but thats only with a mild cold. If u have flu-like symptoms, u may do more damage than help as your body is under enough stress trying to stop the infection. |

You can't sweat out a cold, in fact you're supposed to stay really hydrated and rest.
But arguing with a body builder about anything biological is futile, as they seem to think they know more than doctors even when it comes to anatomy/human biology :p
Electrolites turbolites powerlites, MORE LIGHTS THAN YOUR BODY HAS ROOM FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR. |

| i had the same question a while ago. best to rest for a while (two days) then sweat the rest of that crap out. i wouldn't take an entire week off. |

i love sweating when i'm sick.
it's the best!!!!!!!!!
Granted you need to keep hydrated while sick but you sure as hell can sweat out a cold.
Everytime I'm sick.. the only reason why I know I'm getting better is when I wake up in the middle of the night DRENCHED! |

No, you can't sweat a cold out.
Go ask your doctor and he'll smack you upside the head.
Or on the ass, depending. |
