I'm not sure you realize how far his tentacles reach... it certainly isn't as if the only people playing Prydz (or Prydz alias) tunes are Armin, Garraud, and the SHM.
I was actually surprised how many of them I heard at DEMF - especially all the upcoming Cirez D releases.
And Howells plays tons of them - so yeah, really not sure where you're coming from with that one. |
Haven't heard any DJ I've seen recently play any of em. I haven't seen howells since...wow...vanguard march last year? |

| The Journey completely underwhelmed me when I heard it at WMC. But Stockholm Marathon is a nice chugging track that would work nicely in DJ sets, so I might end up picking it up. |

Seriously man, the guy has so much stuff coming out on MouseVille and a few others this Summer that there's just no way you'd trainspot all of them, or even recognize them as Prydz tunes.
You know I'm rarely the first to jump in on a "let's defend Pryda" bandwagon, but the guy has so much stuff coming out that is far more diverse than any of the he's put out yet, that writing him off just because he's Prydz seems really, really ridiculous.

| Well basically, I don't pay attention to his stuff at all, so if I have heard any new tracks, I don't really care. If something stands out to me, I'll seek it out...but until then...yawn or something. |

I guess. Just seems like writing off someone because they're popular (yet again), and you know that's just not an attitude I can particularly agree with.
If something is , it's - and that's fine, taste is taste. If something is solely because the artist name is Deadmau5 or Eric Prydz, I think that is utterly ridiculous. |
