Using these stats to compare fouls is ludicrious....it's not about these stats...it's about the effort of the defense and where they are aggressive on defense. |

again the lakers probably deserve to be down 0-2, but i at least want to watch an entertaining series, and its impossible when the officiating is so inconsistant, especially in the wake of the fixed game scandel of last year
we just have to see how the tide turns in LA. But a call should be a call not matter what building you play in, that isnt the case in the NBA, and you cant take the Star of the leauge out of the game with two garbage ticky tack fouls in the first 5 min of the game, those could be called everytime down the floor. IF you call em once, you have to call em all night long |
How are they inconsistent? Because of when fouls are called? Because of shooting fouls vs. floor fouls? Seriously...I don't see the argument behind these looking at the effort between both teams. Celts have a very aggressive team defense. That's going to get you a lot more fouls on the floor because they work harder on not even letting the other team get a shot up. And they have to work especialyl ahrd up against the Lakers with its passing abilities....
Lakers defense just seems a mess and the only time they can get a good shot at preventing the ball is when the Celt's player is already going up for a shot...ala a shooting foul

With the fouls on Kobe early in the game....OK, those might have been ticky-tack fouls...but this is the type of thing that always went the LAKERS way int he past...and I doubt I would have ever seen one of you come in and complain that the refs are calling some tick-tack fouls on the other team. But there's always a few ticky-tack fouls each game....but of course no one ever care until it's on your best player...
That happens to all kinds of players...but again, I repeat...I think the laker fans are just so used to getting calls their way in the past (and if you make ANY argument against this, I can get a whole nation of people to back me up here lol) and now that a couple fouls were called (not related to the free throw shooting difference...though you all are whining abotu that too) on your key player....cry cry cry....
I'm not for either team...I'm just saying that all this cry-baby crap is just that...being a cry baby. Get over it. Most of this crap happens in the NBA ALL THE TIME....just that, again, Lakers usually benefit for anything ref related...and this time they aren't.
Cry me a river.
Lakers have three in a row at home....they should just go in not worrying about the first two game....if they win game 3, it's a whole new series even though they'll be down 2-1 still.
I hope it goes to a game 7....would be fitting for this rivalry!
Now stop whining and move on to game three. All this whining isn't going to change the results of the first two games....
Sorry, I just feel like being an ass right now because it feels like I'm on some bored full of college football fans who feel it's their life duty to complain when something doesn't go their way no matter how ludicrous the complain is. Like Ohio State or Alabama fans. |

seriously huh? i was also wondering about this... hahaha.. what a coincidence! series not over yet... Cleveland, Atlanta both went down 2-0 to the Celts.. and they took them to 7.... so it's not like Lakers have no more chance... hopefully they can prolong this series, aint much of a hyped up nba finals if Lakers are swept... :confused: |
