| quote: | | Apple today announced several new features to its iPhone 2.0 software as part of its presentation at the Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco. The firmware now adds full iWork and Office document support, allowing documents from either productivity suite to be read from the phone. Users can also mass-delete e-mail, save images, use a scientific calculator when rotating the iPhone, apply parental controls, and new language support. |

from what i heard some rogers stores are taking preorders @ about $100.
guess tomorrow i'll try and preorder one.
plus a lot of people are saying the iPhone plan from Rogers is going to be like $85-$200/month lol guess we have a month until we finally find out.
[update]
I did some comparing of plans from two different mobile providers...
- AT&T Wireless [Unlimited 3G + 450 minutes + unlimited sms = $89.99 USD] 24 months
- O2 [Unlimited 3G + 600 minutes/unlimited O2 to O2 + unlimited sms = $86 CDN/month] minimum of 18 months |

ended up calling rogers asking a few questions....
hmmm..... the rep i spoke to has no clue but said the plan might come out the same day as the phone... and if u want to opt out of the 3-year agreement she was not sure how much it would be but I Have a feeling it be under $700 which is a total bummer.
Oh yah if you want to upgrade, she said she was not sure if they will start off with upgrading people or we would have to wait a bit which is another bummer.
one thing T-Mobile Deutschland you can get an 16GB iPhone 3G for 19 euros but u need to spend about 90 euros a month for 2 years. |

Fido guys told me the plan will be available later, maybe the same day.
The phone is only available at fido stores or fido reps over the phone but only on the 11th of july. No preorder, no list. :(
I'm taking a plane on the 11th of july at 10:40am :( |

just found this ... not sure if the rep was telling the truth or not
here is what the new data plan will be when the iPhone comes out
$60 for 1GB
$100 for 6GB
204.8 MB per day @ $3.33 what a rip off!
Honestly it would be nice if if it was like $30/month for 6GB
what can i say we still have 23 days of hearing stuff from reps, which we have no clue if its true or not |
|
|
| malek |
| i heard 30$ for 1G. |
|
|
| Enjoy |
| if they force a data plan - then they can right off, since ill be using mostly wifi |

Thats about 34.13 MB/day at $1/day
honestly how much data does one person use in one day, but just sending/receiving e-mails, messages on msn/aim and surfing forums? |
