Quick question on GTA 4 Online (pg. 2)

This is one feature I've yet to check out in GTA4. From what I hear, it's a real technical achievement what R* was able to put together with the online structure, lack of lag, and overall chaos that is present. I just need to buy this ******. Soon.

just take off the headset lol

It plays through the television speakers, I never wear the headset.

Haven't even once since I've owned my 360.

Also, as far as the online facet of this game has gone - I'm shocked. 11 millions copies and if even 30% of them are playing online from time to time (note: not at the same time), that's a massive amount of people, and the fact that I've never lost a connection, never timed out, and have never experienced lag even on internet connection is absolutely miraculous.

If you're using 360, just mute them :p

I can't find an option to only mute voices and have in game effects and radio stations on, hence the point of this thread.

:p

Have you checked the cell phone at all? I'm not really sure (and honestly I'm probably wrong) but back when I played with a few friends of mine one of them figured out how to do it, and I think he described messing around with something on the cell phone. I don't really remember though, wasn't paying attention. :p

It's in xbox live. Just hit the button and mute the people :wtf:

I don't own an xbox or GTA4... just had a lot of fun messing with random things while Haloing at a friends house :happy2:

I wouldn't thought you'd know this? Average at least semi gamer casual ram: 1gb+256mb on the video card end. You can grab 2gb for like 40 bucks nowdays. Both the ps3 and the xbox 360 only have 512mb between the cpu and gpu. So yeh... buy a pc morons.

You answered you're own question. Just plug in the headset but don't wear it. Voila, no sound through TV Duh

talking is the best on xbl.

i hate how halo 3 post game screen automatically kicks everyone after 30 seconds. i remember with 2 there was the good ol' 30 minute long talk session after the game.

awesome times.

It really annoying when your in Free Mode and the guy your trying to kill is always running away from you and is usually at the other side of the city.

Im trying to complete the game first before playing online.
