I had to move back to mom's basement (literary) some time ago due some events that occurred. I went from being "soon 25" to "just 17" in a matter of days. :wtf: I guess that's what moms do best.
Hopefully I'll get that job in Stockholm. |

Get ready to freeze your off, then. The first night I got to Atlanta I was wearing sandals and it was 17 degrees here. Not including windchill.
My nuts almost fell off. I don't give a what anyone says. That's cold for a Miamian. | I think it snowed more in Georgia than New York this past year.
For this being my first winter, we only got maybe 4 inches of snow?? It snowed 3 days total. 2 days it melted by the next day. |

No, Jamie isn't moving here until poligamy becomes legal (she's on Mrs. Hazard's and my waiting list). |

Physical aging I'm totally fine with, don't misunderstand. It's just so foreign to me to be doing all these "adult" things without really having to think about it. I thought it would be more of a problem I guess. I dunno...when I think of adults I think of people who stress over bills and work and .
I suppose I expected it to be more of a challenge. |
for me it's been the opposite. i've been doing "adult" things since i was a teenager. i moved out of the house at 16 and moved 900 miles away from home when i was 18. i've been working full-time for the last 7 years and i'll be turning 25 this October... but i have never felt like a kid through all of it. i mean i still act like a kid sometimes, but as far as paying bills and stressing about money and acting responsible, i've had to do that for so long that it just feels natural to me.
it was actually kind of weird when i was back home in NY last weekend and i met up with one of my best friends for drinks. we met when i was 18 and he was 17 and we were totally just immature reckless teenagers who loved to party back then... and listening to him talk about his life from an adult point of view was really odd. i thought it would make me feel old, seeing how much both of us have changed, but it really didn't. it was actually kind of comforting. |
