TIESTO will be making a 2 night appearance at The Estate in Boston next Wednesday and Thursday nights on his 'In Search of Sunrise Summer Tour 2008' presented by Armani Exchange.
Wednesday June 18th: TIESTO with Eli Wilkie Opening
Thursday June 19th: TIESTO with Douglas and Christian Berardi Opening
Doors both nights at 8:00 PM

| Ya, I chose to go see him hartford instead of Boston cause A: seeing tiesto outdoors w/ some good openers is gonna be sick and B: The Estate will be waaaay too packed,and I dont think that it is a good club for big named DJ's.... rip avalon. |

that's ridic -- i was cleaning out a drawer the other day and found a remnant of a tiesto @ avalon ticket from a few years ago. 15 bucks. |

Yea 63 bucks SO expensive what a freaking rip off, especially since Boston closes at 2am.
tiesto was good last night, he wasnt likt OMG GREAT, but it was good, I feel like he softened it up a bit because it was boston and not new york- for example he played the tiesto remix of the justin timberlake song, as well as a remix of another more main stream song (i forget the name)... he was def good tho - I wanted to hear Rachel Starr- To Forever but i did not! lol. He closed with Moonlight Party, which was good, but again i feel like he did that in boston but probably wouldnt have in NYC or over in Europe because the trance scenes are much bigger in those areas.
Anyone have a track list??
the opener was.. meh. Really not bad. but tiesto came on kinda late and there was only ONE opener, so it woulda made thing interesting to have two openers u know....
Tiestos set all together was about 2.5 hours. Im sure there were many jesus poses too, i didnt quite catch them all hahahah... I am gunna put my pics on facebook and myspace later tonight hwen i get outta work....
When we got to the club - there was like a row of people lined up around the dance floor with no one actually dancing, everyone aruond the perimeter of the main floor- EFF THAT dude, i jumped right in there and was the first one to start dancing, boston needs to BUCK UP!!!! loool.... good times tho, i wish i was going tonight... oooh well! theres my review! i wanna hear about tonight if anyone is going, so def post!! |

I assume it was Justin Timberlake - Love Stoned (tiesto Remix).
As far as "softening" it up for Boston, it wouldnt surprise me, as I think a lot of DJ's vary their style depending on the crowd and city. However, Tiesto has been playing a lot softer in general, esp if he is playing most of whats on ISOS 8. |
