Vocal Trance anyone?

So lately one of my friends has gone on this vocal trance binge...he can't seem to listen to anything else that doesn't have some uplifting female vocalist...
don't get me wrong, some of it is cool....but I was wondering, what are some of the best trance songs with vocals out there? Can anyone suggest some songs to download...?
(p.s. and if you hate vocal trance, why? some people seem to have some strong resentment towards it, just curious...) |

Well, one of the more popular choices out there has to be Iio's Rapture. You'll love it just like everyone else. :happy2:
Be sure to get all the yummy versions, including the following remixes:
-Riva Mix
-Deep Dish Space Mix
-Paul Van Dyk Remix
and *especially* (IMHO, of course)
-Armin Van Buuren's mix
As for other vocal tracks, there are many - right now,
Dreamcatcher - I Don't Wanna Lose My Way (Magik Muzik Mix)
comes to mind. What a beautiful track. I'm not a diehard vocal trance addict, so I can't list many tracks for you off the top of my head. I'm sure others can fill in the gaps.
As for your other question, I myself love vocal trance, but not to the point that I listen to it exclusively. Vocals can really help out a track, hilighting a particular emotion or just helping out with the uplifting feel. I guess the reason why some people don't like it is because they feel it "interferes" with the rest of the track? I mean, vocals don't really work very well with some tracks. It really depends on your tastes. :cool: |

Hehe, i can see what you are gettin at - the females voice sounds a bit deep or something i suspose but i just like the track, with the piano sounds and all:)
