Shyamalan should just stop making movies as they are worse every time.

The problem is that he's a brilliant director, but a terrible writer.
If he stuck to directing other people's work he'd garner a lot more respect I think.
Trance Nutter
the newspaper reviewed it today.
It said the characters were comitting suicide because they'd read the script.

I'd say "brilliant" is giving him a little too much credit, but indeed, he's better at directing than at writing.
Still, spending 70 Mio. $ on this crap is a slap in the face of all the writers who come up with a decent script and can't sell it to the studios, because those are not looking for quality but for they can feed to the brainless mainstream movie crowd. :whip:

movie was dumb. and for s sake how many times to they have to say "i can't belive is this happening?" or "is this really happening? or "this can't be happening!" :wtf:
and marc wahlberg's acting is like that of a kid with downsyndrome. i bet he didn't know what was going on half the movie.
seriously the only movie shymalan made was the 6th sense...

It took me a while to realize that the commercials on TV weren't for a sci-fi original movie. Guess it lived up to my expectations :stongue:

CONNERMAN2000
I like how they are advertising this as "THE FIRST R-RATED MOVIE FROM M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN"
I think I'll pass.

Last few movies were stupid.

I've been looking forward to this for a while, and now that it's gotten bad reviews, my estimations usually go down, which means I'll enjoy it a lot more.
Have to say though "Lady In The Water", or whatever it was called, was pants.
