It was a Pete Tong Essential Mix that a buddy of mine gave me back in 97-98 that hooked me.. when Tong was actually spinning trance.
Kevin and Perry didn't do my love for trance any harm at all either... funny ass film.

| Watch out, someone pointed out Mr. Mystery's mistake! Only he can do that to other people constantly. |

| It was simple for me. About 8 years ago, I got talked into trying X with a group of new friends... got f*cked up and listed to Oakenfold's Tranceport for the first time. It hooked me the same way Pink Floyd did when I listened to it the first time I ate shrooms |

yeah you do.. lol @ andenes..
i started listening to happy hardcore and thunderdome stuff at a pretty young age, i was about 8-9 i think.. then came the late 90s and I started listening to trance. A friend gave me a tiesto mixtape from a club in oslo (i think it was in 98 or something), then i got hooked on the dutch/norwegian trance music (stigma/lars holte etc)..
stopped listening to trance in 2002, but lately ive been listening more and more to it.. probably has something to do with all the nice trancy prog house being made, i dunno.. |

| Back when I was 9-10 years old my cousin Aileen would always be listening to it and eventually I asked her to make me some trance CD's. |

very embarrassing actually,
i was at a leafs game, and they played sandstorm, and i thought to myself "i actually like this song" even though my 64MB MP3 player was full of eminem and other rappers.
started downloading like sandstorm, then eventually found an mp3 on napster with the www.tranceaddict.com at the end of it, i came here and found good music. no more ian van dahl for me. |

| old skool raves back in the 94/95. Only tapes i had though were ones handed out. Then in 1996 i got my hands on Nigel Richards- Hands in the Air. Then it went on to Kimble Collins, Oakie & Sasha stuff. Then in around 2000 i started hating trance & went to techno & house. Finally in 2003 i gave some trance a go again but im still a techno whore. |
