I know I've said it before, but I'll never doubt you again. EVER.

its sometimes tough to follow someone who a has a good following, and sometimes creates quite a set to follow. as i said, tim is a great dj, i just think out tastes are very different in terms of our styles and our musical tastes...

the one ting that always gets me whenever i play at p room, i always get last minute changes to the forcasted tracks, as im afraid i'll play too hard.. and alienate the room. also i find if i dont play a "recogniseable riff" the crowd will sway back into the main room.. i have been playing occaisionally at the purpleroom for 7 years now, going back to the days with mattlok and roo, and playing with them.

the crowd and the room itself have changed over the years.. and although the bartenders and bar kids have changed, the anticipation to play the p room has always drawn me to want to play there..

LOPI, im sorry of the night, the music, and the vibe wasnt your cup of tea, and i appologize if you felt you were let down by the track selection... based upon my feedback from other clubs, and cd reviews, the producers who make them, i thought i had a good track selection of upcoming, unreleased tracks, as well as some of my own production which was mixed in there too.

altho i cannot speak for brad, as mentioned above in other posts, we feel for the people who were there dancing, they seemed to enjoy themselves.

i will however extend a good will gesture, of an invitation LOPI to my next local upcoming show in toronto, and make sure you get the vip treatment, to show you maybe a different side of house music that you thought wasnt very great??

im always approacheable and love feedback, so its always refreshing to get someones take on the good the bad and the ugly,

im just sorry you didnt enjoy yourself

again if you think you are up for it, email me or pm me,

cheers

I find these two statements to be a bit conflicting.
Unless...
After playing at a venue for 7 years, be it occasionally or not, do you not think that you would have a following? Or, do you think that what/how you play might have something to do with why you don't?

Let's also get something straight here, at no point did I say you were a bad person in any way, shape, or form. You seem friendly enough, even from just the posts in here. I have absolutely no problem with you as a person, nor would I have a problem with having this discussion with you in person either :)

That's nice of you :). Very self promoting, but very nice. Thank you.
If I didn't live 2 hours away, and gas didn't cost me my first born child, then I'd say I'd consider giving you another shot. (Because if you botched your second shot up as bad as your first, I would never let you hear the end of it, and it would be pure amusement for ages to come)

i always play for barry, and tim, in the p room, because i love playing there, the sound is fantastic when its on point.

the crowds have definately changed over the years, and while there are some wicked house heads and die hards whom i love to play for, i find the p room vibe is more of a cross over room now..

dont get me wrong, i love playing there,

also, im the most non self ppromoting guy lol, ask barry, either way, if you find yourself wanting a night out in the city, and are in town, with enough notice, im willing to make sure you enjoy yourself,

everybody has a bad night, even though i wasnt there to witness this "fail". i find regular dj's at pr awfull, playing strictly for thier friends, clearing the room really fast, except of course their friends.

lopi, i'd take his offer. if there's a dj who was spinning in kw/waterloo/guelph that i can guarantee will blow your mind is this guy.

my feet still feel the pain of van gog's ear lol.

p.s. disco will never die !!!
djglobalkiller
^^^^^^ lol you remember those nights at vangoghs!!! lol those were truly the wicked nights of forming my passion for house music, in the posts above, are hard disco sets that have the vge feel!!

Xavier Moriarty
lol. i saw you posted some of them sets at that other board. very nice.

i'd sell my left nut for some dj milk sets !!! last time i heard him he was playing with scratche and man.... he didnt lose his edge one bit.

time goes by, evolves, enen though i dont ing understan it man. were relics lol
