BC is so dumb.. they buy new speakers to support the masses of ppl near the beach but don't have a sound technician to calibrate/fix issues???? I guess you don't go to beach club for the sound system. :P
blondish did very well, etienne too, manzone and strong were a lil too abstract for me but still had a lil more energy than victor calderone had... props to victor and all but hes a little monotonous... he fit in with the locals which is NOT supposed to happen :P |

Lawler, Dubfire, Chris Liebing, Fancuili and Victor C now :p lol it's like every tech/minimal set i download I hear that tune...

| Calderone was one of the first DJs to drop the dubfire remix of Grindhouse during his sets. The track got really popular after his set at WMC. Now everybody plays it and it's without a doubt..the track of the summer. Very powerful track, when played at the right moment in a set! |

the first time i heard grindhouse it was by danny howells and like pascal said its easily the biggest techy hit of summer, every djs play it from trance to tech
i was at piknic marcus :( im not a fan of bc and i think victor's sets are not refreshing |

Torrence killed it, he really picked up dancefloor later in the evening.
Victor was meh, dropped some delicious tracks but his set mostly lacked some dancefloor energy, imo.
BC was very packed, too packed.. seemed twice as busy as last year's.
other notes: saw dude get handcuffed with his high-end car being towed as the cops were specifically looking for him. Lots of police presence in the parking lot there. Hmmmm, wonder why? It's only Beach Club :p
Saw George St-Pierre on the hip-hop side, should have congratualated him on his last fight or better yet, put him in the guillotine and have my buddies YouTube it. |
