I agree... first time it freaked me out... now I know what to expect and I find it more amusing than disgusting...
Still don't see why people do G... who likes to pass out and piss themselves in front of a bunch of hot Laval girls???

the passing out is because the line between the euphoric feeling and g'ing out is too fine for many. They feel too sober so they take more ...then BAM!

couldnt ask for more perfect weather .....was really packed, way more then last yr.....music was amazing, vc/manzone&strong/danny killed the dancefloor....like always amazing girls....way too many ppl from ottawa :p

G is one of those drugs that don't give people hangovers and is an alternative for alcohol... But people are dumb and mix it with booz and I still think it's a really dirty drug...
Yea and it's way to dose sensitive, one extra cap @ beachclub and you might wake up not where you passed out asking why your rear hurts... |

bodybuilders especially like it because it's not catabolic (ie breaks down muscle gains unlike alcohol) and is actually less toxic to your liver than booze.
The bathroom situation at BC was especially tough this year, I should have done my thing in the water.

Montreal sure knows how to throw a party I must say.
FINALLY got to see Calderone spin...and I loved every second of it. Yes Grindhouse is played everywhere I agree...but Victor dropped it at the perfect time. Crowd went insane causing simply one of my most intense moments on a dancefloor. I still get chills thinking about it.
Set up for the Beach Club is really good...lots of space to walk around..although very rammed...but hey...one of the nicest days of the summer I've experienced so I'm not complaining. Well worth the money and the trip up.
Managed to get to Stereobar that night...not sure who the two guys playing were but WOW.
Pure. Banging. Triabl. Tunes.
Place was not busy but I did not care. I was in the city and had to get a Stereo fix somehow and did I get it. The magic surrounding "858 Ste Catherine St E" is like nothing I can get anywhere else I've been too. I wanted to just grab the rafters and swing from them... (but one other guy was doing that so I let him have the glory of that move!) Can not wait for the upcoming anniversary times in November.
Summary:
The music grabbed me this weekend, and wouldn't let go. |
