You dumb , your suggestion IS nuclear power. Fusion and Fission (the current nuclear model) are both thermoNUCLEAR reactions. gtfo now.

Allrightythen mr. sand in vagina, I never said it wasn't. The first sentence in the article makes it quite obvious. Thank you for nothing though.

Well the point of the thread was WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON NUCLEAR POWER?...Since both Fusion and Fission are nuclear power, they both are included in your view of nuclear power. not just "cold fusion is where its at" and link to an article. You aren't articulating any sort of response that is even relevant to the discussion. We all are knowledgeable enough to know about fusion and fission.

Since the dangers of and waste from nuclear power were discussed, and cold fusion is more or less dangerfree it does indeed mean a big positive on using nuclear power doesn't it?

I guess my post could say "I'm all for it, since we're now probably soonish able to do cold fusion on a larger scale." It's reduntant imo, and you're just being a smartass grumbler ****.

edit: but I want to call him a cünt :(

lol no, just don't see the point in coming in and saying "its all about fusion" and then leaving it at that, when the thread is about what you think and know about it, your concerns if any, and your view on whether it is best in the current electricity generation climate of today. :) Feel free to add to the discussion though.

It was more meant like a "hey about that; if you haven't seen it; *link*, pretty exciting news, could change your views". But then again I guess it's old news.

Fusion is a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng way away. Actually getting power (as in extracting it) is I'd say 20-30 years away if it's possible! lol

Nah it is shorter than that. Reason being, is that they have actually shown that fusion is not just one of those science myths. Because they have now shown it is not a myth, they can get funding to expedite the r&d.

at least that is my opinion. :)
