im going to go away and study loads and loads like in the movies and read about production, dj'ing and replying to a multiple meaning tranceaddict post and have a soundtrack overplaying and then i will come back and beat the bad guys in true hollywood style

I think the OP is referring to a PC vs a Mac, but I believe Clovis is thinking PC vs laptop :)
And adi, djing isn't "under attack" by any means, but with Ableton one doesn't need cds and/or records to play music. Especially off of a computer. The software with the computer would be interfaced with some kind of MIDI controller and connected into a mixer, or if you have the money, some kind of MIDI controller/mixer hybrid. |
